Covergirl is a brand that specializes in selling inexpensive makeup to young teens and adults. Covergirl has featured famous celebrities like Drew Berrymore, Queen Latifah, and Taylor Swift to promote their products. Their mission is to help make women feel beautiful.
First Impression
I was impressed that they had three different options for the Clean Makeup line. I choose the one for Sensitive skin. I was a little upset that their wasn't one for Dry skin. I also really liked that it was inexpensive.
Daily Use
I used this for about three weeks at about three to five times a week.
Verdict
I was quite upset with this foundation. First off, it was hard to blend. Though the shade matched me perfectly. It didn't look cakey in person but when it came to taking pictures, my face looked very cakey. And I didn't even use powder! Also, it didn't last very long. It would only last about six to eight hours. I like a foundation that is hydrating and makes my skin glow. This foundation made my skin feel tight as well and appeared very matte. Not a sheer to medium coverage at all.
Pros:
- Inexpensive, about $5 at drugstores.
- 3 different options for sensitive, oily and normal skin.
Cons:
- Very cakey.
- Does not blend easily.
- Not long lasting.
- Matte (unless you like a matte appearance).
- Full coverage (unless you are looking for full coverage).
