^Good advice.
I know that, with minors, you don't have to take as many credit courses to achieve them. For example, my mother got her bachelors (back in the 90s) in archaeology but took enough Native American studies courses completely on her own to get a minor in that as well. Also, for a lot of people, they end up taking enough of a certain type of class to declare a minor anyway (there is so much mixing of departments no matter what people tend to say).
I do have to say I am always incredibly annoyed that everyone EXPECTS teenagers to have their entire lives planned out before they graduate. Just keep things open and remember to do what feels right to you. It's a stressful time picking colleges but it should be super exciting too!
