This week Sarah Burton debuted as creative designer for the brand of her mentor, McQueen.
Although it lived up to the aesthetic of previews seasons, I found there was an excess of consistency which made the collection somewhat boring. There were good pieces there, but they lacked the fierceness that made Alexander McQueen a king.
What are your thoughts on this collection and the ones to come?
