Hello Delancefashion community! I'm a stranger, I know. But I finally have time (or at least, I'm just forgetting about everything else and am making time) to check out what I've been missing.

 

And also to get help, of course.

 

I love that bloggers feature not only their own photos of themselves or of friends on their blogs, but I also love how they include pictures from runways, magazine shoots, editorials, etc. How do they get them?

 

I know a few bloggers use style.com, but isn't it copyrighted? If I were to use their photos, would I simply have to right in my post where I got them from to give appropriate crediting? I'd like to include inspirational photos, but I'm not sure how. Also, where do you get editorial photos? I can't find them on magazine websites.

 

Still so much to learn.

Hey all! I usually compare magazines to each other in order to distinguish a trend. I know it seems like print magazines can be outdated because, unlike online news, it isn't up to date every second. I've been having some issues with my magazines lately--regarding their attempt at "diversifying." Are they? Are they trying to share with the world the true cultures [i]of[/i] the world? I'm not so sure. I can say that they are all trying, but some fall short.

When ethnicities come to play into a topic, it automatically becomes controversial. It's because all of the tension and misconceptions of ethnicities and cultures that arise when "non-natives" attempt at learning or sharing more.
